Discover the classic allure of Brazil Salmo Plus, a meticulously crafted blend from the renowned Cerrado region, sourced at farm-gate from a select group of 12 farmers and processed by Volcafe Santos in Varginha, Minas Gerais. This coffee embodies Brazil’s natural processing tradition: ripe cherries are collected, cleaned, separated by weight, pre-dried in the sun for 2–7 days, finished in mechanical driers, and rested for 30 days in wooden boxes to develop a smooth, balanced profile.

Grown in Brazil’s expansive landscapes with diverse microclimates that foster premium beans, this versatile natural shines with notes of milk chocolate, golden raisin, roasted peanuts, and hints of brown sugar or granola, evoking a comforting Reese’s-like sweetness with gentle acidity and full body. As a favorite, it’s ideal for any roast level, from light filter brews to espresso blends, highlighting Brazil’s powerhouse status in producing over a third of the world’s coffee.

We enjoy this coffee in all brew methods.  For pour over, try a 1:16 ratio and a kettle temperature of 205°.  For espresso, we enjoy this coffee as an Americano and here is the recipe we like: 17 grams in and 35 grams out in 30 seconds with a boiler temp of 203°.  Then add 75 grams of 190° water to the cup (we like to use a kettle to top off our Americanos as the boiler is too hot.  Happy Brewing!
