Basecamps are often used as a foundation for shelter, adventure, and a wide range of outdoor activities. Everything starts at the basecamp. Get there, fuel up, and be on your way to an awesome adventure…and when you’re done, make your way back to the basecamp to finish your activity with friends and family.
We know that being outdoors and adventuring out can be soothing to the mind, and filling to the soul.
We used the same components of our Dark Roast, and roasted it just a tad bit lighter to bring out more flavors of each coffees’ origin, thus creating a vibrant, strong, and smooth cup that pairs well with milk but also tastes great on its own.
For espresso we like 16g in and 32g out in 23-32 seconds with a boiler temp of 201 degrees.
For Filter Coffee, we recommend a brewing ratio between 1:16 and 1:17 (for example: 1 gram of coffee to 16g of water) and a brewing temperature of 201°F if you are using a kettle.
Because this is a blend, the components may change, due to the availability of certain coffees at different times of the year. We strive to keep the taste profile as consistent as possible.
