340g / 12oz
A fruit-filled cup with a floral touch, this Guji brings something a little different to your daily brew.
Region: Uraga, Guji Zone, Oromia, Ethiopia.
Altitude: 2,100–2,200 meters.
Varieties: Traditional Ethiopian heirloom varieties.
Process: Natural, dried on raised beds.
Roast: Light.
This coffee comes from the high elevations of Ethiopia’s Guji Zone. For its natural process, whole coffee cherries are sorted and dried on raised beds for approximately three weeks. That time in the fruit helps shape a lively cup with notes of blueberry, papaya and hibiscus, a light body and bright acidity.
For filter brewing, start with 1 gram of coffee to 15–17 grams of water at 205°F. For espresso, try an 18g dose and a 36–38g yield over 25–32 seconds at 203°F. Adjust to taste.
Happy Brewing!
